The option, "New messages bring OfficeView into view", permits users to have their messages pop up into view in front of any other screen. This feature is included in the Options menu.
A single chime sound will announce the arrival of a new message when the "New message sound" option is enabled. The option is on the Options menu under the Message tab. You can personalize the new message sound by placing a wav file called “ovpmsg.wav” in the Windows folder. The program will use this sound to announce a new message arrival.The arrival of a new message is always indicated by an animated icon in the system tray by the clock. Opening the read message window removes this indication.
